List of Holidays in India in 2011, Government Holidays 2011, Holidays calendar 2011, Festival Holiday 2011

The Government of India, Ministry of Personnel Department has been published holidays to be observed in Central Government Offices during the year 2011.

It has been decided that the holidays as specified below holiday’s list will be observed in all the Administrative Offices of the Central Government located at Delhi/ New Delhi during the year 2011

The following holidays compulsorily in addition to three holidays

10. IDU’L FITR August 31 Wednesday
11. IDU’L ZUHA (Bakrid) November 07 Monday
12. Mahavir Jayanti April 16 Saturday
13. Muharram December 06 Tuesday
14. Janamashtami (Vaisnava) August 22 Monday

In addition to the above 14 Compulsory holidays for the year 2011 as mentioned above, three holidays shall be decided from the list indicated below by the Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee in the State Capitals
